About the event
Day 1 (September 22, 12:00 - 2:00 PM) of our Student Resolution Workshop features an overview on how change is made through our political system and government entities. Guests from political parties, local government, and the State Legislature will present on what a resolution is, how to write a resolution, and how resolutions are used to make change. Different groups will be formed, and students will brainstorm different topics to write their resolution on.
Day 2 (September 29, 2:00 - 4:00 PM) of our Student Resolution Workshop will feature student presentations of the resolutions they wrote from last week. Each group will receive feedback from experts, and final edits to resolutions will be made. Finally, students will vote on which resolutions will be submitted to the Town Council.
